Mom's Computer Lessons

Rachel is doing a great job with this blog. She has put up all the posts, pictures and videos so far. She is slowly teaching me (Cathy) how to do it. The reason we started this was that she wanted to do a blog and I desperately need some help getting up to speed with all the technology that is available using the computer. So for Christmas I asked my computer savvy children for lessons. Rachel is teaching me how to blog. Laura is teaching me about Facebook/Myspace. Brooke is showing me how to download pictures from my camera. Ron is showing me how to load my ipod. It will soon be apparent how I'm doing if I'm able to get pictures, music etc on this blog.

Christmas

We hope you all had a Merry Christmas! Ours was fun, interesting, and memorable. But then again all of our holidays, birthdays, and special occasions are with our family. ;)

Happy Holidays! This is my Rachel's gift to me for Christmas! :) She's helping me figure out how to blog. I'm hoping that people that aren't near can get a taste of what my life is like at the time. As you may have noticed, our blog is called Sylver7. Sylver 7 originates from the 7 people in the the Sylvester family. "itneedsbatteries.blogspot.com" originates from Alex. When something doesn't work he says, "It needs batteries," and we needed a URL, so hence the name. Enjoy!

Drunk Baby!

May I first start off by saying Happy Holidays! A few weeks ago when we were buying a Christmas tree, our little guy, Alex found a bottle of root beer. We started joking about how we thoguht he would become a "rootbeer-aholic" when we got this little video on the camera. Check it out!
