Alex just discovered how to use scissors, and decided to cut the letter that mom was writing to Grandma. Luckily they were childrens scissors he was using, but there is another thing to make sure is kept hidden for a few years.

Brooke's Turn!
State Competition
Laura's cheer squad did great at their 3rd and final local competition. The preformed their best ever. The got the Showmanship Award in addition to 3rd place in state. They really are fun to watch. They show a lot of enthusiasm and energy. Now they just have to practice hard to get ready for Nationals in March.

CrAzY for Cheer!
The big trip to Anaheim for Laura's cheerleading competition is getting closer, and we're all really exited! She going to do great! Here are some pictures and a video of the competition:
We always stop at Pudding on the Rice when we're in Provo. Here's me, Rachel, and my friend who will be going to California with us. (She's the blonde one, her name is Marissa.)
Yum!
Here's a video of the Hunter cheerleaders performing. I only got a little bit, but they were awesome! (That's me screaming in the background, gotta show Hunter pride!)
Here is a picture of (most of) the cheerleaders at Timpview in their little circles waiting for the awards ceremony:
Go Hunter!
Here's a closer picture of Laura: (she's the 4th fromw the left)

Cheerleading Competition
The Hunter High Cheerleaders competed in a region competition on Saturday. Their team took 2nd in their division. They did great! Laura is a flyer meaning she is at the top of the stunts and thankfully stayed up for all of them. The cheerleaders will be competing in a National Competition in California at the Anaheim ConventionCenter the end of March. Brooke is going with the cheerleaders as one of the coaches. Randy, Cathy, Rachel, Alex and Rachel's friend Marissa are going as well. We won't be staying in the same hotel most likely but we will see them at the competition and at Disneyland. Way to go cheerleaders

A Beautiful Day for Skiing!
On Tuesday, our family went snowboarding/skiing. It was a blast! The weather and the sights were absolutly beautiful. We actually got snowboards and ski's for Christmas. (Laura, Brooke, and Ron snowboard. Randy/Dad, Rachel, and Cathy/Mom ski. Alex hasn't decided yet. ;]) Here are some pictures of the day! (P.S. Mom and Alex didn't go, because someone has to watch the little guy!)
